While your response has been overwhelmingly positive, we realize that the timespan required to weather this crisis may be longer than we anticipated. Given the trajectory of this pandemic and its anticipated duration, effective immediately we have decided to triple the duration of our offer to host your FileMaker Server on AWS at no charge. Hence we are extending the duration of our offer from 30-days to a full 90-days.
We think 90 days will cover the needs of most of you who are impacted by COVID-19 and are having to take the risk of driving to your workplace or making the tradeoff of telecommuting in ways that are not sufficient or adequate for your work. If your organization is hosting FileMaker Server on premise, to keep your organization connected during the Coronavirus outbreak Automation USA is offering to migrate and host your FileMaker Server in the cloud FREE for 3 months.
Soon we will be publishing a blog in multiple languages, detailing how to rapidly, automatically, and safely upload large data sets to a table on any FileMaker on-premise or cloud server.

Is this a "Partner product offering"?
This free hosting offer is not a product offering in disguise, but a sincere, whole-hearted effort on our part to be of service to the Claris community. We have strong, established roots in cloud computing and remote work environments and continue to operate as usual, and we wish to help others do the same. This is not about us, it's about you.
Which size EC2 instance?
Windows-based, dual-core CPU t3.large with 8 GiB RAM and 100GB boot drive. No secondary drive included.
What if I need more storage?
Tell us how much storage you realistically require, we will do our best to help you.
Which AWS region?
Tell us where you're located and we will consider the best hosting location for you almost anywhere that AWS operates a data center. We'll evaluate hosting locations on a case by case basis.
Which FileMaker Server version?
FileMaker Server versions 17 or 18 On-Premise edition only. Need to purchase licensing? We will offer you discounted pricing to get you the licensing you need.
Will the host have an SSL certificate?
Yes, all dedicated instances will have a valid SSL certificate and host name provided by Automation USA.
What if we use server-side plugins?
Need to install plugins? Mention that and we will consider it on a case by case basis.
What happens after 90-days?
Need to stay online a few days longer? We'll be flexible and work with you.
